Hi, I’m Sam.

I come from a creative background and have an art degree, and for a long time my work lived at the intersection of making things and bringing people together. I’ve taught calligraphy and watercolor, worked as a graphic designer and in corporate tech roles. I have always been drawn to experiences where people can slow down, use their hands, and connect without needing a reason or a title.

Over the years, I’ve seen how hard it can be for adults to make new friends and build real community, especially once life gets busy and routines take over. I believe some of the easiest, most meaningful connections happen when we’re creating something side by side, when the pressure is low, and when the focus is simply on being together for a few hours.

Made in Good Company is my way of creating the kind of night I wish existed more often. A night that feels fun and welcoming, where you can try something new, meet people in a natural way, and leave feeling lighter than when you arrived.
